Sumatra Mandheling is complex, intense and earthy. It is a hard, dense bean that requires a slower, longer roast profile to reveal itself. The final roast color is in between a full medium roast and a French Roast reaching an Agtron 34 the color of a Vienna Roast. This darker roast has some smoky qualities revealing the unique personality of the Sumatra coffee. Tasting Notes: complex, earthy, cherry tannins, currant, blackberry, chocolate. Our Single Serve Pods contain more coffee than other brands resulting in a heartier brew. If you prefer your coffee a little weaker, select a larger cup size when brewing. Enjoy!
