French Roast is our darkest roast. The roast is deep and intense with a smoky finish. We use Euro Prep, Strictly Hard Bean coffees blended with Sumatra for our French Roast. These dense, hard beans require a slow, long roast and an elevated roast temperature. We roast all our of our coffees by sight, assisted by 36 years of roasting experience and our trusty Agtron spectrophotometer. The final roast decisions are made by our Master Roasters. The finished roast is dark, not charred with an Agtron 25 reading. Our Single Serve Pods contain more coffee than other brands resulting in a heartier cup. If you prefer your coffee a little weaker, select a larger cup size when brewing. Enjoy!
